The Helena Montana Temple is a temple under construction for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Helena, Montana, United States.

History

Plans to build a temple in Helena were announced on April 4, 2021, by church president Russell M. Nelson.[5] The LDS Church shortly released the site location and rendering for the planned temple,[6] and the groundbreaking was announced for June of 2021.[7]

The groundbreaking for the Helena temple occurred on June 26, 2021.[8] It was anticipated to take 18 months to construct.
