::*That first link isn't a revert. In the Golan Heights talk page you stated: 'My personal definition of a "revert" has been using the revert tool to remove an entire recent edit.' In my edit, I removed two sentences because they were redundant -- I didn't remove all of text. == Please revert yourself ==

You should have discussed your revert in the Golan Heights as you removed some information that someone else added you did a revert. So please kindly revert yourself and discuss on the talk page.Thank you.--Shrike (talk) 16:58, 7 December 2011 (UTC)

::All you recent reverts that you did today in the article btw you break 1RR too again as you made to series of edits that not consecutive there is one intermediate edit between them. --Shrike (talk) 17:06, 7 December 2011 (UTC)

Revert by Geewhiz

Can you explain why you are attributing to me an edit that you yourself made???--Geewhiz (talk) 06:49, 4 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You are mistaken. I never touched the infobox. I removed overlinking, fixed spelling errors and added photos of natural phenomena and antiquities. Please leave me out of your political fights.--Geewhiz (talk) 09:42, 4 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps you should check the history more thoroughly. I never looked at the infobox or any content. My edits were purely technical.--Geewhiz (talk) 09:49, 4 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Please look at the edit I linked to more closely. YehudaTelAviv64 (talk) 09:52, 4 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have closed the AE complaint concerning you.

  1. You have now been warned of discretionary sanctions that apply to Palestine-Israel articles. Please read the discretionary sanctions page to make yourself familiar with them. Feel free to ask myself or any other admin about them.
  2. You have acknowledged your mislabeling of a reversion, however, editing comments do count and are read. Don't label edits as vandalism when they are clearly not, that behavior in this topic space is subject to sanctions or blocks.
  3. Myself and other admins have noted your are a passionate editor in this area, while I don't want to discourage anyone's passion these can be tough articles to edit in. Always remember we strive to remain neutral.

Thanks. --WGFinley (talk) 19:18, 4 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Revert On Golan Heights

You can't use removing an unexplained revert as a reason to violate 1RR. You can only use it in cases of blatant vandalism. This is your last warning, you're getting very close to an article ban if you continue your aggressive behavior on that article. You should have gone to the talk page to point it out as unexplained instead of just reverting it since you already used your revert for the period. --WGFinley (talk) 20:47, 4 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • I don't think I had another revert in that period. Can you point out that first revert? YehudaTelAviv64 (talk) 22:13, 4 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You violated 1RR by doing this revert and then following it up with this revert less than 24 hours later. You stated it was because the revert wasn't discussed on the talk page, that's not a valid reason to violate 1RR. You can either let another user take care of it or notify an admin that the sanction has been violated. Or, better yet, politely let the person know they forgot to explain it on their talk page. --WGFinley (talk) 14:25, 7 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
