Wendlandia psychotrioides is a species of plant in the Rubiaceae family. It is an extinct species,[1] apparently endemic to Queensland wet tropics.[2] "W. Sayers [sic]"[3] found it "On the Russell River" as recorded in Ferdinand von Mueller’s (notable Melbourne Herbarium botanist) 1889 original botanical description of it under the name Oldenlandia psychotrioides.[4][5] In 1892 Mueller re-diagnosed it to belong in the genus Wendlandia and wrote some comparative notes on it and related species in the genus.[6][7]
