MONGO, I see you're intensely involved in everything about Kellogg on many articles. I'll proceed with a dispute against you for personal involvement. Also, the article is not self-published. It is from a well known Everest historian in England, Collin Wallace. He published articles that are written for him that he accepts for publication Everestrecords (talk) 05:45, 11 April 2014 (UTC)

Please Help. User MONGO https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:MONGO has been stalking me intensely wherever I post, on 3 separate articles. The person is obsessed with Kellogg and trying to suppress me. Likely another Internet stalker-friend of his who live on the Internet. I added a Controversy section here with a link to Outside Magazine. Vandalism removal by MONGO citing incoherent reasons. I see no "stalking" by MONGO. I do, however see edit-warring, persistent use of unreliable sources, grossly unacceptable personal attacks, and other disruptive editing from Everestrecords. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 08:45, 11 April 2014 (UTC)

Controversy Section

I undid potential Vandalism for the third time. I added the below statement and Controversy section with a notable source.

"Outside Magazine revealed Kellogg used the "powerful steroid dexamethasone" for an Everest speedclimb attempt.[1]

40th paragraph from the top of the Outside Magazine article is the paragraph on Kellogg:

"Although dex is rarely used in lieu of oxygen, it’s not unheard of. Chad Kellogg, a speed climber from Seattle, acknowledges taking one pill of dex during a 2010 attempt to break Frenchman Marc Batard’s oxygen-free speed record up and down Everest—“not as an aid,” he says, “but as a preventative.” His attempt failed."

In the sub-title of the article it reads: "the powerful steroid dexamethasone". The article reveals that Kellogg used "the powerful steroid desamethasone" on Everest.

I now seem that user MONGO http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:MONGO has reverted it for the 3rd-4th time, citing a poor reason "misrepresenting the source." I'm simply providing a source. Please search my Contribution history to find that MONGO has followed me where ever I do editing...to 3 unrelated articles. Potential inappropriate conduct, potential abuse. Could you consider blocking MONGO from editing this article? He has provided several unacceptable reasons for undoing my edits. His reasons are only personal reasons. • The edit you did was not in anyway a reversion of vandalism. You need to learn our policies fast or your account is going to be blocked indefinitely. For your info...read our guidelines such as vandalism as well as no original research and undue weight....furthermore, the man is recently deceased so our biographies of living persons does not apply as stringently, but there is no reason for you to defame him with such a trivial issue.--MONGO 16:39, 12 April 2014 (UTC)

  Exactly...Kellogg used one pill one time as a preventative not as an aid..so what! He's dead now...what's your point? You seem hell bent on only having the part about his use of the drug and fail to mention why he did...you misrepresent the full story...that is known as POV pushing and it's trivial and undue weight.--MONGO 16:58, 12 April 2014 (UTC)

Vandalism

MONGO removed all of the Tags I placed about problems with the article. http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Chad_Kellogg&diff=603899892&oldid=603899206 The Tags specify that they should remain until the problems are resolved. Proposed Controversy Section

1, I requested administrator assistance because of user mongo's MONGO unrelenting deletion of anything I post, including a Neutrality Template at the top of the article...he removed it within minutes...the template states it should not be removed until the issues are discussed and resolved.

2, I'm simply proposing a Controversy Section, or any separate section, with the following. Outside Magazine revealed Kellogg used the "powerful steroid dexamethasone" for an Everest speedclimb attempt.[2] The above 'powerful steroid dexamethasone' is in the subtitle of the article, and the paragraph on Kellogg is about 40 paragraphs from the top.

3, I'm open to different wording.

4, Mongo objected to this with various personal objections about the climber. Mongo did not propose other wording, or any other alternative. Instead he deleted it within minutes, and did not suggest discussing it, nor would tolerate any discussion. Isn't this a violation of wikipedia conduct?

5, Fact: National media Outside Magazine did an article on the matter, it's a critical article, and the journalist did a paragraph on Kellogg's use of the prescription drug on Everest.

6, I will try to find other mention of Kellogg's use of the drug...there is mention of it at his sponsor's blog Outdoor Research.

7, Administrator, could you inquire into whether other moderators etc are joining together to control the information in the article?

8, Could you ask for a third party to take part?

• Everestrecords is apparently a single purpose account. First he was blocked for edit warring on this article and others, after that block expired he resumed his same MO and ended up getting blocked for a week...now, that block has just expired and guess what...here we are again. I'm not surprised...but I'll reiterate what has already been said before on this matter...Kellogg is recently deceased so BLP regarding this sort of thing stands...Everestrecords wants to spit on the grave of this person...it's negative and petty and doesn't improve the article anyway.--MONGO 01:06, 21 April 2014 (UTC)

• @Everestrecords, there should NOT be any such section in this bio, period. Even for people who REALLY are controversial, the project tries to avoid using such a section because it just ends up being a dumping ground for every f ed up thing related to that person. How widely covered is "Kellogg's use of the drug"?!? If its not much, then drop it. --Malerooster (talk) 13:53, 24 April 2014 (UTC)
