On 11 May 2021, an attack occurred at Gymnasium no. 175 in Kazan, Tatarstan, Russia.[1] Eight people died during the attack, while at least 20 others were injured.[2]
Suspects
A 19 year old suspect who graduated from the school four years ago was detained.[3] The Hatsan escort PS firearm used by the 19 year old suspect was officially registered two weeks ago.[4][5]
Another armed suspect was reported to be killed in a classroom on the fourth floor,[6] but these reports were not confirmed by Tatarstan president.[7]
