== Edits, including GoDaddy Acquisition of Registry Services ==
I added additional sources to the page and edited the section about their former registry services, as that has now been purchased by GoDaddy. I've updated the section about the acquisition to bring it up to present tense. I've removed the "Needs Copyedit" tag as well. Edits, including GoDaddy Acquisition of Registry Services

I added additional sources to the page and edited the section about their former registry services, as that has now been purchased by GoDaddy. I've updated the section about the acquisition to bring it up to present tense. I've removed the "Needs Copyedit" tag as well. Pizzarush (talk) 01:17, 19 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal

I propose that Neustar IP Intelligence be merged into Neustar. The subsidiary does not appear to be notable independent of its parent company, so it does not warrant a stand alone article. Searches of the usual Google types, HighBeam, and EBSCO found only information from the company, press releases, a blog, a "sponsored post", and brief mentions in a few lists of commercial geolocation databases such as in this book. The content of the subsidiary article can easily be explained in the context of the parent, and doing so will not create problems of size or undue weight. Yes, seems like a good idea. Ditto for DNS Advantage, although that might just be deleted. Thanks for any thoughts. W Nowicki (talk) 17:06, 15 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose - The Neustar article seems fairly big. Probably best to keep them separate. 16:56, 20 February 2017 (UTC)
Mergers of both units to Neustar completed. Kbrose (talk) 01:05, 21 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Propose to update the Neustar logo to the current brand. Logo is appearing (incorrectly) Internet-wide when sourced from the wikipedia page. Correct logo can be found at: <ref> https://ns-cdn.neustar.biz/creative_services/biz/neustar/www/base/img/hp/ns-logo.png Cite error: The opening <ref> tag is malformed or has a bad name (see the help page). Logo use can be seen at: <ref> https://www.neustar.biz/resources/corporate/about-neustar-fact-sheet.pdf Cite error: The opening <ref> tag is malformed or has a bad name (see the help page). Rodney L. Joffe

The paragraph on Rodney L. Joffe seems to have two problems. (1.) It unbalances the section, but more importantly (2.) appears to violate Wikipedia:Neutral point of view policy. For example, it makes statements like "discredited Trump-Russia collusion investigation" linking only the counter-narrative. The cited sources are biased, especially RealClearInvestigations. In November 2020, The New York Times reported that "Real Clear became one of the most prominent platforms for elevating unverified and reckless stories about the president's political opponents, through a mix of its own content and articles from across conservative media." Peters, Jeremy W. (17 November 2020). "A Popular Political Site Made a Sharp Right Turn. What Steered It?". The New York Times.. I have corrected the "discredited" sentence, but the problem remains, and needs more attention. --Bejnar (talk) 15:32, 28 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Silicon Investor listed Paul Sperry's RealClearInvestigations report as "fake news". While Sussman has been indicted for failing to disclose his clients (which indluded Joffe), I have been unable to substantiate, in reliable sources that are not based on the Sperry report, any report that Joffe has been under investigation for any crime. I propose removing the paragraph as it really has nothing to do with Neustar. Any objection? --Bejnar (talk) 16:44, 28 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It's been a week, so hearing no objections, I shall delete the paragraph, in accordance with the policy expressed at Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons#Attack pages. --Bejnar (talk) 04:37, 6 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
