Ghana braids (also known as tresses Sénégalaise is a braiding technique related to the cornrow hair style but with hair added.[1]
Terminology
African hairstyle, Ghana braids, tresses Sénégalaise,[2] tresses Africaine.
These hairstyles can be thick, thin, natural or with extensions added in to increase the hair length. They are mainly characterized by the way they are braided closely to the scalp and often decorated with beads, charms or other accessoiries.
