Poppy Chancellor (4 June 1987 – 29 September 2023) was a British artist.

Biography

Born in London to actress Anna Chancellor and poet Jock Scot, Chancellor was raised in a bohemian environment.[1] Her early artistic tendencies were evident in childhood, nurtured by her family's unconventional lifestyle.[2]

Chancellor studied illustration at Kingston University and furthered her education at the Royal Drawing School.[3] Known for her distinct style, she gained recognition for her contributions to the art community, including work with notable organisations and participation in various cultural events.[4]

Chancellor authored Cut it Out! in 2016, a book on papercut art.[5] She also founded Griefcase, a support group for bereavement, and launched the Dead Parent Club podcast, reflecting her commitment to community support.[6]
