Mohan Charan Majhi elected as 15th CM of Odisha heading the first BJP government is an Indian politician. He was elected to the Odisha Legislative Assembly from Keonjhar (Odisha Vidhan Sabha constituency) in the 2019 Odisha Legislative Assembly election as a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. He also represented the Keonjhar twice during the years 2000 to 2009.[1][2][3][4]
He is an MLA from Keonjhar (Odisha) constituency in the State Election 2024. He won the seat by 11577 votes against BJD candidate.
On the 11th of June 2024, he was announced as the next Chief Minister of Odisha.
