== (questionable source?) ==

The second paragraph paints a vague description of the causes for the battle and there is no source for the following sentence: "According to Byzantine sources, the Muslims planned to launch their attack on a feast day". I think this should be clarified by combining it with the paragraph in "Background" to mention a slightly longer account of the emissary that was sent by the Muslims (Al-Harith bin Umair Al-Azdi) and to where (Busra) who was killed by Shurhabil who was the governor of Al-Balqa'a - and close ally to Ceasar.

Furthermore, Power's book "Muhammad Is Not the Father of Any of Your Men" is cited several times. The motive of the author is malicious, he paints a negative and unfounded claims to the losses suffered. [[User:Zakster31|Zakster31]] ([[User talk:Zakster31|talk]]) 12:56, 12 November 2024 (UTC)

(questionable source?)

[edit]

Zakster31 (talk) 12:56, 12 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
