Hong Kong Collaboration of the Month
The purpose of this page is to establish a Hong Kong Collaboration of the Month (COTM).
Rules:
- The article must have something to do with Hong Kong.
- The article with the most editors supporting it will win. If there is a tie, the one that was nominated first will be the collaboration of the month.
- Nominations can stay up for 2 months, and then will be removed.
- The winner will be selected on or around the 27th of the month for the following month.
How to nominate:
- Place {{HKCOTMN}} on the top of the talk page of the article you are nominating. It will produce: This article is a nominee for the Hong Kong Collaboration of the Month (HKCOTM), as part of WikiProject Hong Kong.
If you wish to add your vote on it, please visit WP:HKCOTM.
- Place your nomination below, at the bottom of the list, with once sentence why you are nominating it. Please sign your nomination with four tides ~~~~.

Reasons
Another important period of the Hong Kong history, featuring the vast improvement in the economy of Hong Kong after it picked up its track in developing into a financial centre. Why not improving this article then, just like we did for 1970s and 1990s?

Reasons
An article that has undergone quite a few changes. A once fairly popular Hong Kong singer and actor. Article was recently re-started because of a copyright violation. Now appears to be scattered and rather un-organized.

Apparently the Hong Kong Golden Forum is one of the biggest Hong Kong-based internet forums. Named after the Golden Computer Arcade in Sham Shui Po, Hong Kong. This article has already undergone 2 AfD's, a 3rd one will be its' last. Surely such a notable internet forum has more information than what is currently there.

- Deryck C. 09:26, 16 January 2007 (UTC) - it represents the online culture of Hong Kong, being the biggest online-offline cross-community in Hong Kong parallel to Wikipedia.
- Sydneyfong 09:57, 23 February 2007 (UTC) Not a particularly pleasant nor mannered Hong Kong internet culture, but a mainstream and popular one to say the least. I haven't visited the wiki article before, and upon viewing I'm surprised at the lack of information.

Li Ching is an important athlete in Hong Kong. The Li Ching article is only stub class on both Wikiproject Biography and Wikiproject Hong Kong. A infobox is needed and needed to translate from Chinese to English, which is requested on the article page. Jacklau96 07:53, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

Article is only stub class only. Very minimal information. Could benefit from such a collaborated effort. Article has already been tagged by several article improvement tags.

- Not just a famous hotel, but a historic landmark as well. Article should definitely be expanded and it needs lots of copy-editing as well. Hong Qi Gong (Talk - Contribs) 07:39, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
- I had tried to expand the list of the popular culture.Shrimp wong 17:29, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
- Article is too short for such a famous hotel. Hydrogen Iodide 06:50, 20 May 2007 (UTC)

- The Indian Wikipedians have been doing good jobs for the articles with title "_____ of India". Those articles give very good introductions about different aspects of India. A lot of those articles have already gained "featured" status. I hope all Hong Kong Wikipedians can learn from their experience, and improve the articles with title "_____ of Hong Kong". We may use the "Geography of India" article as a reference. - Alanmak 05:03, 21 October 2005 (UTC)
- Is this a FA attempt? --Deryck C. 10:02, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
