Albanian-Americans are citizens of the United States who are of Albanian ancestry. According to the 2000 US census, there are 113,661 Americans of full or partial Albanian descent. Here are however many more Ethnic Albanians.The states with the largest Albanian-American populations are New York (100,000), Michigan (10,343), Massachusetts (60,594), New Jersey (47,336) and Connecticut (20,200). The Albanians began to settle in the USA from the early 1920s century from Greece and Yugoslavia, and from 1990s from Albania and refugees from the wars.About 4-5 million American have Albanian roots.They have come like the Irish and Italian People In 18. , 19. and 20. Century.
