The Krka (German: Gurk) is a river in the Slovenian Region of Lower Carniola with a length of around 111 km.

It begins at Gradiček near the village of Krka 10 km from Ivančna Gorica and around 25 km southeast of Ljubljana, before flowing southeast to meet the Sava at Brežice near the Croatian border. The most important town on the Krka is Novo Mesto.
