Subha (Template:Lang-ta) is the pen name used by the writing partnership of D. Suresh and A.N. Balakrishnan, who write Tamil detective novels. The two friends began co-authoring stories when they were in school together, and have been publishing their work since 1983. They have at least 550 short novels and 400 short stories to their credit, and have also written screenplays and dialogues for Tamil movies and television serials[1].

Most of their detective novels feature the characters Narendran and Vaijayanthi of Eagle Eye Detective Agency and their coworker John Sundar. These characters sometimes team up with the detective couple Bharat and Susheela of fellow author Pattukkottai Prabakar.

Suresh and Balakrishnan run their own publishing company, which, in addition to their monthly novels, brings out some non-fiction titles.

They live with their families in adjacent apartments in Chennai.
