fun is an indie pop band based in New York, New York that was formed by Nate Ruess, formerly of The Format. Ruess formed the band with Andrew Dost of Anathallo and Jack Antonoff of Steel Train.
fun will begin recording their debut album this September with producer Steven McDonald, arranger Roger Joseph Manning Jr. They will release a single in November and their debut album will be available in February, 2009.[1]
A demo of the first song recorded by the band, "Benson Hedges" [2]can be heard on the band's official MySpace page.
