Yes i'll support the development of this article. I can't think of a better name. The name seems a bit weird, but i dont know what else to have, We cant really call it "International reaction to the 199? declaration of independence of SO and Abkazia". :Fair enough, I don't support either. I generally oppose separatism, Kosovo is my only exception with it been labeled a "special case" and because a family of Kosovo refugees stayed with my family for a few weeks in 1999 during the war. That is why i support Kosovo. Other than that, i oppose separatism. I can understand you opposing Kosovo's independence, as i would strongly oppose the Independence of Scotland or Wales. Do you think Russia's recognition of them both has weakened Russia's opposition of Kosovo? [[User:Ijanderson977|Ijanderson]] ([[User talk:Ijanderson977|talk]]) 17:59, 26 August 2008 (UTC) |

Notice how Arab countries refuse to recognize RoK because it's an American project? Did you notice that they donated money on the Kosovo Conference in Brussel although? I believe this is a reaction ---- contradictory, but still a reaction. Ari d'Kosova (talk) 03:56, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
- We are not "muslim". We adhere to secular Muslim traditions because they are forefather traditions passed down from father to son but nothing religious in nature. I find America more religious because of continued church going on sundays than Kosovars in Kosova. Do you feel like spearheading anything related with the Arabs on RoK article? National emblem of China
Hi, can you change back the picture for the national emblem of China? The new one that you added looks wrong. There's shouldn't be so much red around the wheat stocks and there are missing details of the star and the Tiananmen. Thank you.--24.63.227.223 (talk) 01:34, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry but the .svg file has much more detail than the previous one. It's true that there is no 3D decoration but I thought it was unnecessary.--Avala (talk) 11:47, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
- How is the lack of 3D decoration "more" detail than the last one? If you compare the previous to the one you changed, the two do not look the same. Furthermore, the new one you added looks wrong with too much red around wheat stalks, which are also too small and off balanced. So please change it back to the previous one. --24.63.227.223 (talk) 04:08, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
It has more detail and this is the simplest way to prove it:
And the .png version also has the wrong 3D effect on stars as this is the image file not a sculpture and it uses black instead of yellow in some places so on top of being a low quality file it is also an incorrect one. As you can see here it's only gold and red [1] without any black--Avala (talk) 13:12, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
- I made the images smaller because you can't have that large of a size in the articles. The old one is taken from an official government website I believe, so it is more accurate in depiction. You can easily tell the artistic difference between the one you added and the original. The "black" color in the old picture is used for 3D effects, and the new one you added, although has better quality at a larger size, is wrongfully depicting the emblem especially around the wheat stalks [2]. Please change back to the old emblem picture. --24.63.227.223 (talk) 18:57, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
- If you can see black color here then congrats as nobody else can [3]. Anyway you are wrong as this is the official explanation of the emblem "The national emblem of the PRC features Tiananmen Gate beneath the five shining stars, encircled by ears of grain and with a cogwheel at the bottom. The ears of grain, stars, Tiananmen and cogwheel are gold; the field within the circle is red, as are the ribbons festooning the bottom of the circle. These two colors traditionally represent auspiciousness and happiness.". --Avala (talk) 22:56, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
- The national emblem does not have the color black, which is only used for 3D effects in the picture. Also, the emblem is not a description, but the original picture. The one you added is different from the government version and wrong. So please change it back.--24.63.227.223 (talk) 00:07, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

If you don't like the original picture, then can you upload this one to the articles: http://english.gov.cn/2005-08/16/content_23488.htm ? It's from the government website and is the right depiction. --24.63.227.223 (talk) 00:13, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
- And that is what we have now just without 3D effects which are not part of the blazon so we don't have to use them. Blazon never mentions 3D and the .svg file is 100% correct to the blazon. And no we wont use that plastic mold of the website you provided as we are looking for an drawn image here not a photo.--Avala (talk) 00:17, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
- The picture you added is wrong. It's clearly different from the official emblem. Can't you tell that? Please change back to the original or add the one provided by the government website. --24.63.227.223 (talk) 02:12, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

Kosovo and the like
Just to make it clear. If you put a quote of Putin (making the same point over and over again), there is nothing to say against. But you should beware of falling into line with one specific editor who has a (nearly) single-issue-account here for spreading unsourced propaganda (it would be the least to distance yourself from this). Since you are working in many articles in the field about Serbia's foreign policy, I see the difference of course. But you should restrict yourself to being polite before accusing others to fall into line. PS: There is no point in the fact that the "other group" is also working hard in the purpose of distorting facts. I agree with that. The more the article is restricted to the state actors, the easier it will be to avoid controversy. --DaQuirin (talk) 13:36, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

Can I suggest that WP:ANI is probably a more useful venue for this kind of discussion. You will see it very clearly stated at the top of WP:RFCU Checkusers and clerks do not generally issue blocks. You may need to do this yourself or submit a request at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents. Sam Korn (smoddy) 14:40, 24 July 2008 (UTC)

leave
the article and talk known as Talk:International reaction to the 2008 Kosovo declaration of independence, by staying your not helping anything anymore avala, because they wont accept you there, i see a problem, really its just you and tocino, but you atleast know how to be a wikipedian about it unlike tocino, so just leave, ok? --Jakezing (talk) 21:19, 1 August 2008 (UTC)
- Thankfully Wikipedia is not modeled after a one-party system of nodding head users. You can't force anyone to leave Wikipedia just because you don't agree with them. Anyone who can respect two simple rules - to be civil to other editors and to provide sources for their edits - should stay. Those who can't do the simplest thing like that shouldn't edit Wikipedia at all, not just that article.--Avala (talk) 21:21, 1 August 2008 (UTC)
- leave the article, not wikipedia, right now, every talk you get into, or almost evety turns int oa fight, ffs, we have a friggen waste of talk space that has nothing to do with improving the article because mark dosnt like you. i gave the same advice to tocino, and now mark, leave the article and kosovo page relates alone for a bit, he choose not to listen and things went downhill.--Jakezing (talk) 21:24, 1 August 2008 (UTC)
- Well it doesn't turn into a fight if the talk begins with screaming out my name in the most negative manner without any reason or base. It feels like having a target on my ass all the time and I have to defend myself from accusations which are unfounded and which are made just because someone decided not to like me. I have nothing against users who are arguing with me, but about the content for the article. On the other hand those who have a weird urge to attack me personally, those I can't have positive opinion of or assume good faith.--Avala (talk) 21:29, 1 August 2008 (UTC)
- what im saying is, just leave for a little but and let things cool down, because theres no reason we should have [4], so, just like i advised tocino, just leave and let things cool down, ok? dont edit anything related to the kosovo stuff and just, ya, cool down ok? --Jakezing (talk) 21:33, 1 August 2008 (UTC)
- That would mean that Mareklug's action to scare me by his libelous comments have succeeded. But if you are worried about me starting a heated debate - you shouldn't be as I wont. Instead when it comes to uncontroversial edits or civilized discussion on controversial ones you can count on me.--Avala (talk) 21:35, 1 August 2008 (UTC)
- I'v suggested the same thing to him avala, we shouildnt ahve that discussion on that talk pag,e just leave for a bit, i'll try and conveince mark to do it to, right now, if we remove them that means the main problem causing topics will be gone, with you gone, we won't have anybody for them to cry bad about, with mark gone we wont have him around to undo your stuff, and with tocino gone for now we wont have any pov pushers that take control of the article, --Jakezing (talk) 21:39, 1 August 2008 (UTC)

Re. Persistent personal attacks
Hello Avala and thank you for contacting me. I'll have this situation analyzed shortly. Regards, Húsönd 23:13, 1 August 2008 (UTC)
- Hi again. Well, after reading the thread I've decided not to take any immediate action but keep monitoring the situation instead. Mareklug may request comment on the behavior of another user, as long as he does it civilly. I could not find any incivility, personal attacks or, as you call it, libel on his remarks. I believe that the best thing for you to do would be to avoid engaging in a heated debate with Mareklug, and instead await for community feedback on the discussion he initiated on the talk page. Full protection for this article is probably not necessary for the moment, but it shall likely be in order if an edit war erupts. Please contact me if the situation escalates. hello
Sorry, Ive not logged in for a few days, Ive included my objection to that discussion for you. Ijanderson977 (talk) 13:58, 3 August 2008 (UTC)
- Like you said with Malaysia, they may not approve of gay rights in Kosovo. They had the opposition leader in Malaysia arrested for supposed Sodomy. So i don't think they will approve of Kosovo due to this, but who knows? Maybe countries might find it easier to recognise now that the international community is more concerned with Georgia-Russia conflict instead of "the whole Kosovo thing" has died down. But who knows? Ijanderson977 (talk) 13:00, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
- What is Tadic trying to do by asking Bush for help? Obviously he knows that the Rep of Kosovo is a mainly US creation and that Kosovo is de facto no longer a part of Serbia and it can't really be reversed. Even physically with war it can't be reversed, because all that would happen is what is happening South Ossetia. Just replace Georgia with Serbia, S Ossetia with Kosovo and Russia with NATO. Also Kosovo does have some recognition unlike S Ossetia. What is Tadic trying to achieve regarding Kosovo? I know he wants to diplomatically fight for Serbia's sovereignty over Kosovo. Russavia
Yes, but there are two things that are not going to go well in his favour in due course when will seek arbitration on the matter.
Firstly he has annoyed many other editors in other projects by making dramatic changes without due consultation, which is not good for his reputation.
Secondly he has not yet displayed good faith. We let him make these dramatic changes to the taxonomy, on the expectation he would follow up by writing substantial articles about individual embassies. All he has done is merely write a series of short, weak stubs about Russian missions abroad or foreign missions in Russia. After a while it may come clear his intention was not to contribute meaningfully, but just to change the structure to suit his own selfish interests.
But lets give him the benefit of the doubt for a few more months. If he hasn't come good I think we should seek a wholesale change backed up by administrations. If this happens, I would be like you and others to provide support. Kransky (talk) 01:36, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

Karadzic NPOV
Hi there. In the article about the Arrest and trial of Radovan Karadžić I find language which I suspect of being in violation of NPOV (neutral point of view). I tried to provide a fix for this, but I noticed that you undid my edit. I would like to know whether you find the current language used to be in accordance with the encyclopedia's NPOV ideal (the language is: "Person A tried to refute, but Person B confirmed", which I suspect as being written from a point of view favouring Person B and trying to make the Wikipedia reader believe that Person A said a lie, which of course may very well be the truth, but in the encyclopedia we try to present a neutral article giving references to all relevant sources and let the reader decide, rather than provide the reader with what we believe to be the truth). NerdyNSK (talk) 01:08, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
- I have now changed the statement to make it more NPOV, but without using the "claimed" word I used before, while also providing a reference to journalist investigations about the matter that were made before the trial. Hope you find this an improvement. NerdyNSK (talk) 01:52, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
Hi,
you placed {originalresearch} tag without explaining in edit summary or on the talk page what exactly is disputed as original research content. Could you be more specific? Cheers --Ivan Štambuk (talk) 22:43, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
- Unfortunately the article doesn't have any references. It's also unclear whether Preradovic was Serbian from Croatia or Croatian as there are sources to back up either claim while the article cites none.--Avala (talk) 22:47, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

Malaysia
Yeh i doubt they will publish or make a statement about freezing recognition ect. I doubt they will recognise Kosovo in the short term, because they have become "UN COCK LOVERS" in recent years and they are afraid of breaking international law like South Africa, New Zealand and the Philippines. If these countries are to recognise Kosovo, they will do it in 5-10 years time and say "well Kosovo has been separate from Serbia for a long time now and its peaceful and a democracy so we believe its the right thing to do ect", that sort "happy and safe" rubbish. They don't want to break international law encase that gives them a bad reputation. If you understand. Also they don't want to upset anyone either. Ijanderson977 (talk) 17:40, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
- Ye sit is lol. However, like i have said, they don't want to upset anyone. They want to obey International law and be a nice happy friendly nation. Ijanderson977 (talk) 22:04, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
List of Prime Ministers of the United Kingdom
Hi. I noticed that you reinserted Image:Alechome.jpg into the List of Prime Ministers of the United Kingdom article. Unfortunately the image's fair use rationale does not support use on the article. I have again removed the image per WP:FUC. Regards. Road Wizard (talk) 18:16, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

Re-warning
So basically you reverted my edit because I didn't explain why I deleted it? Fair enough, here it is then. That section of the article was changed by me because frankly it was unimportant. The President of Parliament and the Supreme court president are indeed part of the government but they are not the heads of the government as the Prime Minister and President are. Look around a bit on some other country articles and you will see majority only include the two. If you have an issue with this then Msg me back so we may resolve it.
Regards. Buttons
- True enough as you said they are not part of the government which sort of proves the point. Its strange (using the USA article provided) that they would be shown in the same infobox as the actual heads of government/state. I will leave it be for now but I am still somewhat against it the idea of including the two. Regards Buttons

Do you think Russia's recognition of them both has weakened Russia's opposition of Kosovo? Ijanderson (talk) 17:59, 26 August 2008 (UTC)
