Ganmodoki

Ganmodoki (がんもどき) is a fried tofu fritter[1] made with vegetables, egg white and sesame seeds. "Ganmodoki" means "pseudo-Goose." This is because Ganmodoki tastes like geese.

In the Kansai Region, Ganmodoki is called "Hiryuzu" or "Hirousu," from the word "filhos" ("fried cake") in Portuguese.
