Imai Sadakiyo (今井定清, ?-156-1) was a retainer beneath the clan of Asai throughout the latter Sengoku Period of Feudal Japan. Holder of Omi province's Minouchi castle, Sadakiyo had initially supported the Asai as an independent force over the Imai before becoming their respective retainer at a later time. By the year of 1561 Sadakiyo besieged Futo castle from the Rokkaku in support to the Asai's attempt to rettain such a strategic position over the former; but unlucky and poorly managed circumstance would unfortunately get the best of Sadakiyo: A certain retainer by the name of Kishizawa Yoichi had accidentally speared him to death amidst this conflict, tarnishing his name with relative humiliation.[1]
