El Gouna FC is an Egyptian football club based in El-Gouna, Egypt. The club currently plays in the Egyptian Premier League after having been promoted from the Second Division in 2008/09.
The club started in the fourth division in 2003/04 to become champions at the first attempt. El Gouna FC accomplished the same feat in 2004/05 on third division level and completed the trilogy in the first season on second division level in 2005/06. Having missed out on promotion through the play-offs, the club managed its fourth successive title in 2006/07 and again failed to qualify for the top flight during the play-offs. A mediocre second division campaign in 2007/08 was followed by the second division championship in 2008/09, finally resulting in promotion to the Momtaz.
