Template:Geobox The Serra dos Ancares (Spanish: Sierra de los Ancares) is a mountain range in north-west Spain, extending in a south-westerly direction from the western end of the Cantabrian Mountains in Asturias.

The Ancares form the boundary between the autonomous communities of Galicia and Castile and León. This political border is also a linguistic border which is reflected in the fact that there are both Spanish and Galician versions of the range's name.

The highest point of the range is the peak of Cuiña (1,987 m).

One of Galicia's comarcas, Os Ancares, is named after the range. Sierra de los Ancares is also the name of a Site of Community Importance in the province of León.

This area of Spain contains many isolated rural communities that were largely cut off from the outside world until roads were built in the mid 20th century. The traditional dwelling, typical of the region, is the palloza.
