This "confirmation" is rather shoddy, IMHO. I'm not an expert at nginx, but this looks like he was proxied to the wrong place. See http://googlesystem.blogspot.com/2007/09/googles-server-names.html?showComment=1190094960000#c8715394510153881440 for a comment by [[Matt Cutts]]. WikiProject Google To-do:

Here are some tasks awaiting attention:

This "confirmation" is rather shoddy, IMHO. I'm not an expert at nginx, but this looks like he was proxied to the wrong place. See http://googlesystem.blogspot.com/2007/09/googles-server-names.html?showComment=1190094960000#c8715394510153881440 for a comment by Matt Cutts. Pphaneuf (talk) 18:20, 17 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

operating systems

which operating systems are supported by Google Web Server? --MrBurns (talk) 00:47, 26 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Customized Linux. lim (talk) 10:46, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Proof removed:

This is why I have removed the proof. Typing 'HEAD HTTP/1.1' into a linux command line returns the so called 'proof'. Please discuss here whether or not to remove the speculated comments so as to tidy the article away of the 'unjustified speculation' box. Zbrahead91 (talk) 18:56, 15 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Additionally, it appears that the 'HEAD' command adds a '.com' to the 'HTTP', actually giving the headers sent by the page HTTP.com Zbrahead91 (talk) 18:56, 15 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
