Kris Deedigan is a British actor best known for his portrayal of Des Townsend in the long-running Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks.
Career
Deedigan's first main role was playing Des Townsend in the Channel Four soap opera, Hollyoaks which he began filming in 2009.He has also appeared in Emmerdale and for the BBC. Before Joining the cast he was at the National in 'The Pitmen Painters' a brilliant show. Kris studied at Newcastle College and Bretton Hall. Kris was born in Newcastle and is a genuine Geordie.Kris has worked on Film, TV, Radio and Theatre. He won critical acclaim for his role as Marty in The Lovers By Bridget O'Connor, Live Theatre, Newcastle.
