Could someone please verify her year of birth?

I strongly believe that 1982 was NOT her year of birth. I remember her as a VJ on MTV India in the mid-late 90's (when MTV India had reborn as an alternative to Channel V). I also recollect she was either a student at IIM-Ahmedabad or she was admitted to that institute -- but left her studies to become a VJ. I just don't think Maria could be only 23-24 years now.
