Hi, I'm Haus. I've had this account since 28 Feb 2006 and puttered about from IPs before then. I generally work on articles related to ships, the shipping industry, navigation, maritime unions -- the gentle reader may be able to detect a pattern emerging. My encyclopedic editing tends to focus on turning stub- and start-class articles into high-B-class articles. About once a year I go on a big maintenance-bender on the 40,000+ articles in WP:SHIPS, trying to focus on a "redheaded-stepchild" task. These benders are typically aided by some ad hoc technology.
I hope to one day have merchant shipping articles in good enough shape that I can kick back and work on something amusing like Mick Farren.
I go to sea for months on end, so if I appear dormant it's probably because I am.
If you're wondering if I'm that Haus, the answer is yes. I used to have a pet demon named Balzhur that was the bane of the silly people everywhere.
