David Fickling is an English children's book editor and publisher based in Oxford. Fickling runs David Fickling Books, an imprint of Random House, which has published books by authors including Philip Pullman, Mark Haddon, John Boyne and Linda Newbery. He began his career at the Oxford University Press, and later worked at Transworld and Scholastic, before setting up David Fickling Books in 2000,[1] now an imprint of Random House.

In 2004, David won the British Book Award's Editor of the Year.[2]

Fickling also runs David Fickling Comic, which publishes comic books including The DFC.[1] The DFC ceased publishing on the 27th March 2009.

The Journals in Order

(I couldn't find the titles of the volumes in this series in sequential order on any of the official websites; finding which is the next so my grand-daughter can read them in sequence. More, some of the books are published under different titles (my guess is that is a UK/US issue, but again, the official websites didn't help me.

This contribution is an attempt to provide the above information - and will expand as we discover more. Please refine if you know better...)

1 : Gorilla City

2 : The Perfumed Pirates of Perfidy

3 : The Puppet Master

4 : The Daredevil Desperados of Destiny

5 : Charlie in the Underworld

6 : Frostbite Pass

7 : The Mummy's Tomb
