Mathur Krishnamurthy was a Kannada writer and former Director of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Bangalore.[1] He was also instrumental in establishing the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in London.[2] He was a Padma Shri awardee.[3] He passed away on the 6th of October 2011.[4] He was 82 when he passed away.
