STABLITY FACTOR

Introduction

[edit]
In order to increase stability that is making operating point Q stable, there are two techniques used.
  1. Stabilization Techniques
  2. Compensation Techniques
Stabilization techniques make use of resistor to bias the transistor circuit. But the stability of bias circuit is affected by changes in temperature. The thermal stability of a bias circuit is estimated by calculating a Stability Factor.
