Signing posts

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. How can I sign?? I always use Dubfire (talk) 08:18, 4 November 2011 (UTC) (four tildes), and then Wiki automatically adds "Preceding unsigned comment" AFTER MY SIGNATURE. Why doesn't Wiki recognize my signature??? - Dubfire (talk) 08:18, 4 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

That is because I deleted the "Preceding unsigned comment" bullshit, because Wiki doesn't recognize my signature. My post is signed and then there's the "Preceding unsigned comment". WHY?? - Dubfire (talk) 08:21, 4 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
