Sapphie Battersea is another fantastic book released by Jacky Wilson, except's Saphhie's given name is Hetty Feather! Sapphie is the name her mother, the maid Ida gave her due to her sapphie-blue eyes. When Ida gets sent packing, thanks to Shelia, Hetty's temper is out of control and she is first ill and weak. She then goes to work as a maid at the home of a male children writer. She is then sent away due to her misbehaviour. She finds Ida, who she discovers unwell. She spends time with another friendly family and by the end of the book, the family have gone and Ida has passed away, with Hetty watching her. |

Hetty then sets out to find her other parents, her dad. But that will all be contained in the 3rd book.
Characters: Sapphire Battersea- Adoption name is Hetty Feather. Flaming red hair with a fearful temper.
Ida Battersea- A weak maid who loves Hetty but dies because of serious illness.
Mrs. Briskett- A stern woman who is the housekeeper.
