The municipality Arriana was formed at the 2011 local government reform by the merger of the following 4 former municipalities, that became municipal units:[2]
- Kozlukebir(Arriana)
- Sirkeli[Fillyra]
- Mehrikoz[Kechros]
- Hemetli[Organi]
