Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:UnivarenaKzoo.jpg, by Fuzzy510 (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:UnivarenaKzoo.jpg is unquestionably copyright infringement, and no assertion of permission has been made.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Image:UnivarenaKzoo.jpg, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 04:38, 9 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Nenyedi, and thanks for your message, however, even if it might seem that I made the changes, this is not actually so.

Instead, I only switched the word "four" into "six", as seen from here. I think I marked the edit as a "minor", to indicate a change not related to the contents.

You are probably looking for REexpert44, who included the two new flavours, as seen from here.

Thanks for your attention. ~Iceshark7 09:16, 9 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Lakeview Square Mall

Lakeview Square Mall, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Lakeview Square Mall satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Lakeview Square Mall and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Lakeview Square Mall during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Nenyedi(DeedsTalk) 03:27, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hallo, Nen! Glad to hear from somebody. I'm a bit puzzled. What's inappropriate about Cliff? Please explain.Anatiomaros 20:07, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Could you explian that? He's certainly regarded as notable in Cornwall.Anatiomaros —The preceding signed but undated comment was added at 20:14:06, August 19, 2007 (UTC).

Huh?

Heh, last time I try to contribute on here! I'm confused as to how the page was inappropriate as it is similar to other pages on here (ie, Digg, Furl, Netscape, etc). Would appreciate an explanation. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Bcuser (talkcontribs) 20:16:05, August 19, 2007 (UTC).

I've noted inter alia his contributions to our cultural life, the details of one of his publications, and his membership of one of our leading cultural organizations. What else would be needed in order to establish notability? Anatiomaros 20:23, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Right ... I've cited a readily-available publication. It's by Stephens, and is readily available. What did you find unreliable in it? Anatiomaros 20:33, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the speedy delete notice you put on the article. If you actually looked at the article itself, or at the source that bot tagged it as plagiarizing, you'd see it's already tagged with a template as having been transcluded from the public domain Dictionary of Greek and Roman Biography and Mythology (1876). The page our article is supposedly plagiarizing also has a similar tag indicating the origin of its information. Ford MF 21:01, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion of Australian National Pigeon Association

G'day Nenyedi, I can understand your opinion on my creation of the Australian National Pigeon Association article. It has only just been created as a stub after all. It will be linked to from various pigeon related articles in due time. It also has been listed in a specific Category i.e. Category:Organisations based in Australia so ANPA is an Australian Organisation, and since Wikipedia does have the Category for this why not allow creation of the article page? I'd rather that you didn't delete it please. Like I said, the article will be expanded eventually. If not by me then some other aspiring Wikipedian can have a go at it. A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

This is an automated message from a robot. You have recently uploaded Image:Ambucs logo.gif. The file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 16:52, 7 September 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. If you believe you received this message in error, please notify the bot's owner. LiveScience

Nenyedi, RE your deletion of a page I added (LiveScience), please do not threaten to block me. That is quite inappropriate, espessially given that there was no discussion before this *warning* was given. In fact, your conduct in the removal of the page itself was highly questionable given the facts about this site. Specifically, the website I refered to is quite commonly referred to and deserves some mention.

1. The site get 5 million unique visitors per month 2. there are 1,410,000 references to "livescience.com" on google. 3. More importantly, it is a publisher of content used by yahoo, msn, aol and more.

Frosty Float

A tag has been placed on Frosty Float, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. -- JediLofty User ¦ Talk 12:21, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Stanleysteemerlogo.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Stanleysteemerlogo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 20:37, 24 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Follow the interwiki link to find the Italian original. --VKokielov (talk) 20:59, 11 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mr. Nenyedi, I would like to clarify about the Italian article. Ask a reliable person who knows Italian, and he will tell you that I translated faithfully from the Italian original. Salvo D'Acquisto is evidently an Italian national hero, which fact is mentioned in black on white in the carabinieri article. --VKokielov (talk) 03:24, 12 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Here is the passage, word for word.

The Carabinieri are particularly proud of the memory of Brigadier Salvo D'Acquisto, who was executed by the Nazis in Palidoro, near Rome, in World War II, having exchanged his life for the lives of innocent citizens due to be executed in retaliation for the murder of a German soldier. Brigadier D'Acquisto falsely claimed responsibility and was shot for the offence.

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Airzoo5.png}

Thank you for uploading Image:Airzoo5.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check:

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 15:03, 21 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use Image:FrostyFloat2.png

Replaceable fair use
Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:FrostyFloat2.png. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Proposed deletion of Janice Brown (Kalamazoo)

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Janice Brown (Kalamazoo), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

A Youtube reference does not suffice for establishing notability per WP:N

License tagging for File:HolidayInnExpressLogo-Blue-JPG.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:HolidayInnExpressLogo-Blue-JPG.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 01:07, 19 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (File:HolidayInnExpressLogo-Blue-JPG.jpg)

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:HolidayInnExpressLogo-Blue-JPG.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. FileBot (talk) 21:57, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! :)

Hey there Nenyedi! I couldn't help but notice that you're an amateur radio operator, so I thought that I'd stop and say 73!

Here's a link to my callsign on QRZ --> [1]

File:Image-request-airport.png missing description details

Dear uploader: The media file you uploaded as File:Image-request-airport.png is missing a description and/or other details on its image description page. If possible, please add this information. Orphaned non-free image File:Promise Billboard.png

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Promise Billboard.png.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • I am a bot, and will therefore not be able to answer your questions.
  • I will remove the request for deletion if the file is used in an article once again.

Fair use rationale for File:Kalamazoo Promise.png

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Kalamazoo Promise.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. J Milburn (talk) 19:13, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Image help

Nenyedi, you posted [2] and the link in the list of Canadian restaurants articles says it's in suburban area of "Stratford". There are a huge number of places with that name, and several in Canada. Where, exactly, was this image taken? Thanks, D O N D E groovily Talk to me 18:00, 8 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
