Hōya Station (保谷駅, Hōya eki) is a railway station in Nishitōkyō, Tokyo, Japan. This station is served by the Seibu Ikebukuro Line. Hōya is the 11th station leaving from Ikebukuro Station (including Ikebukuro Station) on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line.

Layout

The station is made up of one platform island and one side platform serving 3 tracks. Hte side platform serves trains going up on track 3. The island platform serves trains going down on platform 1 and some trains either go up or down on platform 2.

History

April 15, 1915 (Taisho 4) - Station Opened. December 30, 1986 (Showa 61) - Hoya crewing place building opened. December 27, 1991 (Heisei 3) - new station building opened. 2003 (Heisei 15)- north entrance was rebuilt. 2006 (Heisei 18) The completion of March 25 - elevator escalator installation construction. December 23 - waiting-room began use. Formation of February 11, 2007 (Heisei 19) - barrier-free and station yard improvement work were completed and the multifunctional toilet began use. The new commercial establishment "Emio Hoya" of April 16, 2009 (Heisei 21) - Seibu Railway direct management is renewal opening. 2010 (Heisei 22) A March 21 - new up platform (No. 3 home) is started to use, and the old up platform (No. 2 home) is a use stop. The stop position of a September 18 - down train was moved to the Tokorozawa slippage 50 meters. July 17, 2011 (Heisei 23) - station improvement work was complete and a No. 2 platform serves as structure of 2nd page three lines [3].
