In April 2013, at his concert for Charsur Arts Foundation in Chennai, he rendered ‘Karpuram Narumo’ of Nachiyar after a Virutham in Saveri and [[Khamas (raga)|Khamas]]. V.R. Raghava Krishna (born 1987) is a Carnatic music vocalist from Chennai, India. Hailing from a family with a rich music tradition, he was exposed to the south Indian classical music at an early age.

V.R. Raghava Krishna is the son of veteran violin artist V.V. Ravi and Visalam Ravi. He started learning music from his mother Visalam Ravi and Akhila seshadri. He is currently a disciple of Padmabhushan P. S. Narayanaswamy and his uncle Naadayogi V.V. Subrahmaniyam.

He has been performing in various sabhas in and outside of Chennai. Notably, Sri Krishna Gana sabha, Naada Inbam, Sri Parthasarathy swamy sabha, Karthik Fine arts, Bharat Kalachar, Kapali fine arts, Aadhambaakkam isai mandram, Shanmukhananda sabha (young talent) Bombay, Guruvaayoorappan samaj Bangalore, Tamil isai sangam, Sathguru Samajam – Madurai, Pollachi, Trichy Rasika ranjani sabha, Trivandrum Neelakanta Sivan festival,Thrippunithura - Poornathrayisa Seva sangam, Toronto – Naada Laya foundation festival and at Kochi etc.[1]

In September 2013 at his concert, featured by Nadabrahmagana Sabha in Vanaprastha, Coimbatore, the graphic presentations revealed how he internalised the inner core and fertilised it by intense saadhakam (the way of learning, practising and mastering Carnatic Music). [3]

V.R. Raghava Krishna is a B-high graded artist in Classical music and devotional music in All India Radio, Chennai.

Apart from being a musician he is also a professional animator([4]) [5] [6] and a magician too. [7]

He learnt 3D Animation & Visual Effects from Vancouver Film School, Canada.

Raghava Krishna has participated in the Children's programs at All India Radio, Chennai. He was awarded the First prize in the Junior Level. He also walked away with the First prize in the popular programme 'Saptaswarangal' conducted by Sun TV. He was interviewed in the Malayalam network Surya TV in the programme titled 'Pookkooda'. This little's stars talent was recognised when he was recently given an opportunity to sing for a Malayalam Film 'Saranam Ayyappa'.[citation needed]
