+|ShortSummary=In 1991, a strong storm hits New York and with it arrives a mysterious little boy. The child is adopted by the wealthy Helen and Edward Thorson, and was named Charlie Xavier. In the present, evolved humans are now starting to become prevalent in society, and Charlie struggles to understand his identity. After Charlie saves partially blind Jack Summers' life in a street burglary, the two became fast friends. This in turn leads Charlie to meet Jack's twin sister Laurel where the two share an intimate moment having somewhat an instant connection, leading Laurel's jealous ex-boyfriend Scott Drake to force Charlie into a hazing ritual. Meanwhile, the Thorson's rival family's son Luke Worthington, who reveals himself that he could fly, has his sights on Charlie and his abilities. In the end, Luke reveals his plans in forming a group of protest evolved citizens in New York in an attempt to establish a new order in his father's senate.
