Template:Unreviewed Gunijan Trust, an initiative for presenting the eminent personalities of Bangladesh, who inspire us through their writings, words, scientific and artistic works and other creative pursuits for peace, humanity and social justice. The organization is compiling and preserving the biographies, which are available on the website - www.gunijan.org.bd^[1]. It includes complete biography, selected writings/creative works, awards or recognitions, pictures and video (where available) on the life of gunijan. The thematic areas of Gunijan are: liberation movement, literature, education, law, science, social science, music, fine arts, philosophy, performing arts, mass media, human rights, sports, Adibashi rights, etc.

As internet access is not available across the country, Gunijan Trust is publishing CDs with biography of the eminent persons. Among them - "Mohima Tobo Udbhashito" has been launched on February 26, 2008. Veteran women's rights activist Hena Das unveiled the CD ^[2]. CD with profiles of the freedom fighters of 1971 Liberation War has been launched in 2009^[3]. CD Titled “Mohima Tobo Udbhashito: Muktisangram”, is the third installment of the initiative. The CD mainly features personalities who were involved in anti-colonial movements^[4]. Gunijan also organized exhibition in 2006 ^[5] and in 2009 ^[6].

Gunijan had received the special mention award of World Summit Award in 2009^[7].
