Revision as of 18:20, 24 May 2016

I restored to the Elizabeth Cheney page the text below, which you deleted. If you have valid reasons for this deletion, please take it up on the discussion page for this subject. I had already removed the children's birthdates (potential for id theft and a host of other privacy issues) and I see that someone else removed your addition of them. The material below is content that I originally posted, so if you have a problem with it, please let's talk about it on my talk page. One of the characteristics of sources on this subject is that they often tend to line up on either side of political fences. For that reason, it is important, I think, to make sure sources and info are posted in a way that shows they sometimes even seem to contradict each other. "Amid reports, including a New York Times editorial by Paul Krugman, saying that the job was created especially for her, State Department spokesman Richard Boucher said that she had come recommended by Colin Powell.[4][5] The Times of London reported that Cheney's appointment was "the most intriguing sign that America is getting serious about Middle East reform" and that the appointment was "a measure of the seriousness with which the administration was taking Middle East programmes for literacy, education, and reform."[6]"

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit that you made to the page Tory Burch has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Please use the sandbox for testing any edits; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing for further information. Thank you. > RUL3R>trolling>vandalism 07:06, 17 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am really curious what motivated you to revert my recent edits to the Tory Burch page in toto without explanation.

I corrected numerous grammatical errors, sought to reorganize some material--moving career info to the Business heading, where the remainder was.

I removed duplicative material.

Rather than an instant revert, you could have gone change by change and explained your reasoning.

I see that you're not an administrator.

Sorry about it. I got a little lost on your edit and thought you actually removed other material. Cheers. =) > RUL3R>trolling>vandalism 07:44, 17 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I reverted my own reversion, btw. > RUL3R>trolling>vandalism 07:45, 17 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What do the "trolling" and "vandalism" marks mean?

Attempts at humor to link to my talkpage (trolling) and my contributions (vandalism). Nothing else. =) > RUL3R>trolling>vandalism 07:51, 17 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

GA reviews

Hi. If you disagree with the GA review of Tory Burch, please start with taking up the issues with a new section on the talk page. It is considered both rude and disruptive to edit an archive of a one-year-old GA review, since this is a reference to the article at the time, and the rationale for the pass or fail at the time. You are, however, free to claim that the article no longer meets the criteria, and can ask for a reassessment. The best thing is to simply take up the issues on the talk page or be bold and add references or otherwise appropriately edit the article. Thank you for your understanding, Arsenikk (talk) 14:10, 17 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

October 2010

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Robert H. Schuller, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. The reverted edit can be found here. Thank you. Talktome(Intelati) 01:10, 19 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry but this edit looked like vandalism to me. :)Talktome(Intelati) 01:55, 19 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A matter of perspective, it seems to me--what content warrants inclusion in an encyclopedia. "Wikipedia is not a soapbox, an advertising platform, a vanity press, an experiment in anarchy or democracy, an indiscriminate collection of information, or a web directory." A cup of coffee for you!

Pennhurst State School and Hospital is on my watchlist, and I just wanted to say your edits to the article in January were excellent and, as you noted in your edit reason, "clarifying." Cheers. Mreleganza (talk) 07:25, 1 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

@ Mreleganza: Thank you. I grew up in Pennsylvania and my younger brother was slated for Pennhurst because it was the only available facility for severely handicapped children who grew too big for families to care for at home. Avocats (talk) 17:57, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
