== Endorsements ==

I've made a small first effort to whip the '''Endorsements''' section into shape, like grouping music gear separately from Guitar Hero appearances. If anyone wants to give it a go, particularly the Epiphone/Gibson chaos, feel free. <br>[[User:Weeb Dingle|Weeb Dingle]] ([[User talk:Weeb Dingle|talk]]) 07:32, 1 August 2017 (UTC)

Anyone else notice this mistake?

At the bottom of the top section they said that tommy blancha confirmed at the sandiego comic-con that metalocalypse would not be renewed for a 3rd season due to "spiraling ratings". Well, if anyone actually read the article, the only show mentioned that was cancelled is morel orel. Tommy blancha said the matalocalypse would return. This should probably be fixed to avoid mass outbreaks of anger and confusion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.1.3.205 (talk) 13:15, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Third season

The article states that the show will not be renewed for a third season. The source cited for this says the show will be renewed for a third season. I can't find any information online about it. Anyone know? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.255.28.96 (talk) 16:35, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Description of Charles Foster Ofdensen

The description of Charles Foster Ofdensen in the Overview seems at odds with the show's heroic portrayal of him. The description is accurate but shouldn't the Overview at least explain how he is positively displayed, such as thrhttp://en.wikipedia.org/skins-1.5/common/images/button_headline.pngough music and rescue of the characters? Toys

I added the difference between two seperate companies who have made toys for Dethklok and the type of products they produced.--JMST (talk) 04:43, 14 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Season 2 Music

It says in the article that there will be another album containing the music from season 2. Where is the source for this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.155.109.34 (talk) 21:34, 30 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Musical reference section needs to be trimmed

We don't need a listing of every single musical reference in the series. This section is also filled with OR and words/phrases like "probably", "likely", "may possibly be", etc. This section should be trimmed down to a handful of sourced references. No more Snowy Roads

Dr. Rockzo's song "No more Snowy Roads" is quite similar to Styx's "Snowblind". Wouldn't you say? --Beanmaster13 (talk) 03:26, 30 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Inspired By?

Im pretty sure this T.V. series is inspired by the band "Cannibal Corpse", but there is no mention of them anywhere in this article. I was just wondering if this is correct or not? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.137.24.132 (talk) 05:34, 27 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Refimprove

I tagged the article for improvement of referencing because there are several sections totally void of references and unreferenced, unverifiable material continues to be added to the article. Please help improve the article's verifiability by adding references for the following sections:

  • Overview - currently no references
  • Series development - referencing unclear, references only appear at the end of the section
  • Voice cast - should be easily referenced, but there are currently no references
  • Guest stars - should be easily referenced, but there are currently no references
  • Touring history - currently no references

Thank you for helping to improve this article's verifiability. Some sections may also have OR issues, so please remove any information that looks like original research if you can't find a reference to verify it. Wilhelm Meis (Quatsch!) 13:05, 29 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

metal references

is it worth creating a section detailing how, although no bands from real life exist in the world of the klok, there are a great number of direct references to real bands? Right off the top of my head, there's Guns n Roses (Snakes n Barrels), Necrophagist (the hospital they go to), Dimmu Borgir (Dimmu Burger), and there are definitely more.

the only strange thing is that murderface definitely sings a portion of same old song and dance by aerosmith. its hard to tell if that means the song actually exists or if he actually is making it up in their world. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.252.78.87 (talk) 08:14, 13 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Episode 1 features a supermarket named "Finntrolls" as well. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.134.137.209 (talk) 07:48, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Still need tv character bios

The whole first section of the Dethklok discussion page is devoted to removing any character detail from that article - not that I have a problem with that. However, I'd understood there were separate articles for each character (they were linked), but now they are redirected to this article, so only one remains.

This section of the wiki manual shows examples of "good" character pages: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WAF#List_of_exemplary_articles Does anyone know how to find the old band member articles, if they existed? ... the pictures of each band member are still on wikipedia but not the articles. Cameo of former president of Argentina?

On season 2 episode 2 around min 10 there's a man who's definetly similar to Nestor Kirchner, it even has that weird chameleon eye and everything.

Could it be a cameo or just a huge coincidence? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.134.137.209 (talk) 06:23, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you have a source stating that it is, then add it to the article. Otherwise, this isn't a message board. MrMoustacheMM (talk) 05:31, 4 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Writers

If someone could set the table codes for me, i'd be happy to add who wrote the episodes for the show, since some episodes dont include tommy blacha and some feature various others(i.e. Brian Posehn in episode 45) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Davidravenski (talkcontribs) 23:21, 2 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Episode: 308 Rehabklok \ Rehab Doctor Voice

Did anyone else who listened closely to the rehab doctors voice, that it sounded a bit like Jack Black, even more when he started singing. I'm only speculating this because he also worked closely with Titmouse Inc when producing that Brutal Legend spot for Adult Swim. It wouldn't be surprising if he provided his voice. Discuss.

--Flash512 (talk) 08:28, 12 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Is Jack Black listed in the credits? If so, he can be added to the article. If not, then he shouldn't. MrMoustacheMM (talk) 23:02, 12 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Citation Needed

Please note, as PompusAss, I and only I have decided to interject various citation needed tags, since only my perfection, which is on the same level as firehose wrestling, can fix this particular article.

Mallow

What is a "mallow"? (From Metalocalypse#Endorsements) I was going to wikilink this word, but could not determine what the correct link would be (if any). Can another word be found, or a piped wikilink created for it? MrMoustacheMM (talk) 04:06, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It's a type of toy that has that unique shape, I'm not 100% but I think only shocker toys does that which is why there isn't a wiki page or anything, because it's not very popular. Davidravenski (talk) 11:44, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I linked the the page for mallow, the shocker toys page had a section for it Davidravenski (talk) 21:33, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Great, thanks! MrMoustacheMM (talk) 00:47, 18 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Home Media Release Section

Don't know if this section is really necessary. At the moment it only really links to list of episodes for each season. Maybe consider renaming the section and change it to reflect time of airing each season rather than the dates that the seasons are released on DVD. Shaded0 (talk) 04:37, 2 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Vague: "Small said he is 'all but finished making Dethklok records'

I flagged this sentence as vague:

Small said he is "all but finished making Dethklok records"

Seems like gratuitous fan service. He's not confirming anything, just vaguely stating that he has an inclination to continue some aspect of this series. I don't see what encyclopedic purpose it serves unless it's followed by a specific plan that has been announced. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 21:46, 17 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The current plan that Gene Hoglan mentioned was that Galaktikon II would serve as the next Dethklok record. I've been holding off on adding this here however, until Brendon Small gives more information. TheDethklokGuy (talk) 01:37, 18 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
