Possible Sockpuppets / Possible primary accounts

As Cjhard is likely to be a secondary account for some other main sock master or else commonly logs out to hide their editing pattern, this is hard to track. Some of these are grouped by incident to make referencing easier. I will try to note relevant pagelinks where it makes sense, such as throwaway accounts that appear likely but only edit on one or two pages.

Behavioral commonalities to consider:
  • Editing logged out or via throwaway accounts. Cjhard has admitted a pattern of editing logged out, which makes their contribution history incomplete. They claim to have only come "back" to Wikipedia in earnest recently, but their 2nd and 3rd edits on return were to WP:ANI and one of those comments indicates they had in fact been editing either under another name or an IP address for some time. Cjhard also displays oddly specific and obscure knowledge ((such as [1] [2]) as well as tending to hang out to engage in pile-ons at WP:ANI [3] [4], indicating that they are actually someone else's un-acknowledged secondary or sockpuppet account.
  • Topic area of military equipment or history. Cdg428 and D.H.110's sockpuppets often make edits to topics related to military equipment or history before moving on to their real topics of interest. I am assuming this is some way of hiding their interests or getting around the new-user filters.
  • Topic area of communism - similar. Cdg428 and D.H.110's sockpuppets also like to insult users by calling them communists, but also occasionally make assertions that they themselves are communists on their user pages.
  • Topic areas related to right-wing fringe or hate groups - Many of Cdg428 and D.H.110's sockpuppets will put references to hate groups or hate insignia on their user pages or in their user name. They are especially fond of Pepe the Frog, a webcomic character co-opted by hate and neo-nazi groups in the past few years. Cjhard account itself popped up on the Pepe page recently: [5]
  • Topic areas related to right-wing fringe or hate groups, Part 2 - Both Cdg428/D.H.110's sockpuppets and Cjhard have a habit of editing topics related to these groups, especially trying to remove information that is factually accurate and historically correct but not flattering to USA Southern groups or movements such as Lost Cause mythology, the United Daughters of the Confederacy and League of the South as well as modern politicians associated with the extremist right such as Karl Oliver and Kris Kobach.
  • Topic area of LGBT - Many of Cdg428/D.H.110's sockpuppets make attacks on articles related to LGBT topics, attempting to insert derogatory language towards LGBT individuals or groups. They also like to use anti-LGBT slurs as insults.
  • Good Cop / Bad Cop Behavior - Cdg428/D.H.110's sockpuppets have play-acted at interacting with each other, even reverted each other, in order to fake non-association.
  • WP:WIKIHOUNDING - Documented in much more detail below, Cdg428/D.H.110's sockpuppets and Cjhard share a commonality of hunting their opponents via contributions history and deliberately attacking them on articles not related to any initial dispute. When the Cdg428 and Pepe.is.great sockpuppets were blocked, the sock master created Heroin123, which began by making anti-LGBT attacks on a page I was involved in and then followed me to United Daughters of the Confederacy, attacking me and making inappropriate edits both to my talk page and to a SPI request. Cjhard likewise followed me to United Daughters of the Confederacy and resumed a Cdg428/D.H.110 sockpuppet's attempt at edit warring just a couple of hours after the sockpuppet had been blocked and checkuser confirmed.
Timeline:
  • 13:32, 3 June 2017 Heroin123 leaves an inaccurate message on my talk page. Tornado Chaser - a well meaning but ill-informed individual responding to an IP-based report (interesting!) - leaves a warning on my talk page, not realizing Heroin123 is a Cdg428/D.H.110 sockpuppet. (Tornado Chaser, to their credit, later apologizes [6]).
  • 16:46, 3 June 2017 Heroin123 engages in attempted edit warring on my talk page [7]
  • 16:32, 3 June 2017? Heroin123's last edit to United Daughters of the Confederacy
  • 16:51, 3 June 2017 Heroin123 leaves themselves a message [8], most likely intended instead to be left on Tornado Chaser's page, text of "Warning is a mad communist who likes witch hunting."
  • 16:55, 3 June 2017 NeilN (talk | contribs) blocked Heroin123 (talk | contribs) with an expiration time of 1 week (account creation blocked) (Disruptive editing)
  • 16:59, 3 June 2017 Heroin123 begins asking for unblock claiming they were "not disruptive"
  • 17:12, 3 June 2017 Jpgordon (talk | contribs) changed block settings for Heroin123 (talk | contribs) with an expiration time of indefinite (account creation blocked) (Abusing multiple accounts: User:D.H.110)
  • 02:36, 4 June 2017 Cjhard announces intent to edit war on talk page, making the same claims Heroin123 did.
  • 02:37, 4 June 2017 Cjhard reverts to Heroin123 [9]
  • Addendum 16-17 June 2017: Heroin123 removes all doubt. [10] [11] [12]
  • Gloating Cjhard repeatedly tried to have evidence deleted, after driving me to take a very long break with his harassing behavior. [13] [14]. Numerous sockpuppets were created by D.H.110 for the purpose of gloating too, and at least one of them tried to wipe the content of this page [15].
From miscellaneous behavior:
talk page diffs: [17] - initial comment, complaining about "censorship" and how they "I came to this article to read more about the controversy, especially Jordan Peterson's view". [18] - claims that sockpuppetry is "irrelevant" [19] - attempting to use a pretty rank propaganda site and angry it's not considered a WP:RS, very similar to D.H.110 sockpuppet anger over sources in this topic

Curiously, Seraphim System has only edited (under that name) to this article since May 21, 2017 (first edit.
Seraphim System is also a fan of section blanking [35], similar to some IP sock puppets noted below.
  • Tag-team sequence 1: SeraphimIP[]
  • Weird tag-team sequence: after repeatedly trying to argue that the Southern Poverty Law Center could not be used as a source for this article, Seraphim System declared they were "leaving" [36] after a discussion that apparently had Seraphim making legal threats; not very long after, extreme right-wing editor Annmccaff launched a new section using the same arguments Seraphim had been using, almost verbatim [37] before launching a second similar [38]. When VQuakr pointed out that this had been discussed and settled, Annmccaff argued that because she/it was a new account it somehow wiped away previous consensus [39] and intriguingly, focused an argument on Pepe the Frog [40], a common article of obsession for D.H.110.

  • Contribs history here is... interesting. Appears December 2016, vanishes until April 2017 for a single edit, then July 2017 to begin wikistalking Snooganssnoogans and Activist first on Mark Levin before following them to Kris Kobach. Appears to be either/or a sockpuppet of D.H.110 tag-teaming with itself [56].
  • Tag-teaming with Rms125a@hotmail.com is something several other D.H.110 sockpuppets have done: [57].
  • Leaving highly insulting comments on talk pages is a form of harassment D.H.110 practices often: [58]
  • Doorzki was blocked as a sockpuppet by Future Perfect at Sunrise
User:Hidden Tempo

  • History: Hidden Tempo blocked for severe actions pushing right-wing agenda and for sockpuppetry before. HT seems to operate as a tag-team with a few other similarly minded individuals, including a history of some levels of wikihounding.
  • HT indef blocked for this behavior again; Cjhard not only declares it an outrage [59] and misrepresents the user's history, but actually tags their page with a "barnstar" award [60].

  • HT appears to have arranged off-wikipedia channels to coordinate edit warring behavior with James J. Lambden [61].

  5. [66] - First and only edit on page, deliberate following of my edits again (removed text that I had added that had been left in by consensus that entire month)
  6. [67] First edit by Cjhard on that page, deliberate reversion to a BLOCKED SOCKPUPPET of Cdg428/D.H.110 that followed my edit history there seeking to abuse me following the block of Cdg428/D.H.110 and "Pepe.is.great" sockpuppets.
  7. [68] Cjhard announces intent to edit war to restore sockpuppeted content. First edit by Cjhard on that talk page.
  8. [69] First edit by Cjhard, once again following me around. Misrepresents edit, makes false claim about source (another Cdg428/D.H.110 sockpuppet habit), reverts to IP-based sockpuppet.
    1. [70] Edit summary of "unencyclopedic purple prose" but the edit instead removes an important qualifier. Cjhard seems to make a habit of trying to push a pro-Lost Cause mythology viewpoint with edits like these and dishonest edit summaries.
  9. [71] - Cjhard has never edited there before this edit. Note that he is again trying to create drama, by inserting text that was pushed by a single-user on the talk page.
    1. Cjhard has since begun edit warring trying to put back text by ThinkingTwice [72] [73], claiming he is inserting "compromise text" when the consensus was that said text could not be used unless there was a source showing a general controversy about the term that met WP:RS standards. He tried to use an existing Op-Ed piece (same as ThinkingTwice and that had already been shown not to be RS for that purpose) as a source in the 2nd edit.
    2. Cjhard did this shortly after two likely sockpuppets (YesHah and HeatherAdams) also tried to reinsert ThinkingTwice material. YesHah has only 1 contribution, HeatherAdams only 3, both appear created solely to sockpuppet that page.
  10. [74] Removes well sourced text I had added, which has been consensus in article unchanged since May 21st. Has never edited on talk page, leaves dishonest edit summary; once again appears to be trying to create drama.
  11. [75] Edit summary of "Removed unsourced material, rephrased" but edit instead removes wording that is supported by the source provided. Removal of wording creates POV issues. Cjhard deliberately targeted one of my edits with this [76] after gaining an illicit block and seeing my intent to quit wikipedia. Part of a pattern of attempts to goad me.

Similarity to Cdg428/D.H.110 sockpuppets:

Long gap in editing history. Strong probability that Cjhard is someone's secondary account used for malicious purposes. Also, note that 2nd and 3rd edits after return were posts to WP:ANI that revealed that Cjhard was editing regularly by IP address and/or another account before resuming use of the Cjhard account.

3rd edit on "return" [77] - Cjhard admits that they regularly edit without logging in, which hides their trail. The IP history referenced in the diff likewise jumps with a first-edit to a talk page, making it very difficult to track where else or with what other accounts Cjhard edited [78].

Creation of very small user page soon after "reemergence"

  1. - Massive number of sockpuppets that not only interact with Cjhard but provide faked opportunities for Cjhard to play "good cop" while directing abuse towards editors such as myself and Kellymoat.
  2. - Case in point [79]; Cjhard "reverts" to play "good cop".
  3. - Behavior similarity to Heroin123 contributions list. Heroin123 is a Cdg428/D.H.110 sockpuppet that wikihounded my edit list over to United Daughters of the Confederacy after encounter at An Act to amend the Canadian Human Rights Act and the Criminal Code. Cjhard wikihounded me to United Daughters of the Confederacy the next day (diff link), right after Heroin123 was blocked as a sockpuppet, and not only that but reverted to the blocked sockpuppet's edit. Cjhard's commentary on the article talk page was very similar as well to what Heroin123 left on mine out of the blue.
Attempted Joe-Job on me followed by creation of bad faith SPI case by Cjhard.

  3. Numerous sockpuppets such as "Peee.Dearson" are created by Cjhard in order to harass me and leave attacks on my talk page or attacks on me on the talk pages of others, like this: [81]. Other names include "Deep.earson", "Dont.ban.pepe", "Derperp.eerson", "Pepe.the.great", "Save.Pepe", "Pepe.Rocks", "Heroin1234". I know that some of these were put on the talk page of @Kellymoat: and on the talk page of @K.e.coffman:. I also know some of them were on Cjhard's talk page, again a hallmark of Cdg428 sockpuppets (which regularly interacted with each other to create false separation). I am having trouble tracking them all down as apparently some of their edits have been deleted and/or hidden. I don't think this was deliberately for that purpose given that I have seen other edits that didn't get deleted (such as [82]) but it's not making it easier to track down all of Cjhard's sockpuppets.
  4. This is done to me while Cjhard created a harassment attack on me on what is called a "drama board" and was enabled by one Dennis Brown, who apparently participated in the attack and who helped Cjhard write the attack while ignoring my evidence of the Wikihounding by Cjhard.

# It screams "sock puppet" of the sleeper kind. The account has only approx. 815 edits but extensive knowledge not only of Wikipedia's policies and guidelines but it's internal politics, feuds, obscure cases and ANI reports (examples [85]. It made 16 edits in 2007, 8 edits in 2008, 4 edits in 2009, 4 in 2011, 3 in 2012 and then... it "woke up" and exploded with several hundred edits starting in May of this year. And a lot of these involve following and reverting Morty around - there's no freakin' way this is a legit account.

There is no evidence HT and I coordinated edits and in fact I had never emailed him (I do not have email enabled.) I was not pinged or otherwise informed of the accusation here. He has pursued this accusation elsewhere as well, without informing me.
My interaction with Morty is relatively recent and unconstructive. Comments like this and this (directed at one of the most pleasant editors I've interacted with), multiple (apparently weak) SPIs and this investigation of "enemies" suggest an editor not focused on positive contribution. Should this SPI fail(And it will), you need to seriously reconsider how you decide someone is or isn't a sock.
