Why does my user page keep getting tagged for speedy deletion? I am trying to create a request for an article on my organization, Occupy Democrats. I read that I must disclose my connection (I am the founder) to it on my user page, which I did, but it keeps getting tagged for speedy deletion. What am I doing wrong?

(I simply described who I am and my connection to Occupy Democrats, so that I can make a request to have a page created for my organization, Occupy Democrats. This page should not be speedily deleted because I made it myself about myself, it is accurate, and I am simply disclosing my relation to Occupy Democrats so that I can file a request for wikipedia users to create an article about Occupy Democrats. Thank you
