April 2020
Your recent editing history at :Even in His Youth shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.<!-- Template:uw-3rr --> Whpq (talk) 19:06, 10 April 2020 (UTC)

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Image without license

Unspecified source/license for File:Screen Shot 2020-02-10 at 9.27.13 PM.png

Thanks for uploading File:Screen Shot 2020-02-10 at 9.27.13 PM.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like PD-self (to release all rights), cc-by-sa-4.0 (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 04:45, 11 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Kirbycrying.png

Thank you for uploading File:Kirbycrying.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 12 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Do not use user-generated websites as a source for images

You cited an Italian website akin to eBay as well as Discogs as sources for recent uploads of cover art images by Billie Eilish. We have no way of verifying if these are legitimate or not, as they're not from official sources. I could set up an account and start selling "promo" copies of Billie Eilish CDs; it doesn't mean they're legitimate. Any user can upload images to Discogs; this means we cannot trust these sources per WP:USERG. Please stop uploading images from websites that users contribute content to. If you continue to, I will ask an admin to intervene and delete your images. Thank you. Ss112 08:00, 7 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ss112 can discoed be used a reliable source? Beatleswillneverdie (talk) 03:47, 11 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Do you know what you're talking about?

It's like you don't even know the supposed "cover" you uploaded is a horizontal rectangular shape. When the URL you provided as the source for the image still worked, it even showed you the back of the postcard. How is a small horizontal rectangular shape going to be the cover of a flexi disc vinyl? That's the shape of a postcard. You're being wilfully ignorant. Don't revert again, or I will take it up with an admin. WP:BRD also applies. Ss112 03:38, 11 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, and by the way, I'm not denying that the cover of the vinyl is a similar image. Just not in the format you've uploaded it, which is the postcard. I've also just found this, which is a photo of the square-shaped package the vinyl comes in. However, this is a photo of the cover, not the cover itself, and looks like it's from a third-party seller on Amazon, so may not be reliable itself. Ss112 03:43, 11 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Don't revert users without explanation

For a user who was telling others that you felt "threatened" by me only several days ago, you're getting especially brave with these reverts without even providing a reason. Don't revert editors without explanation [1]. You should not be reverting users without explanation, and especially as you haven't even provided a source for the low-quality image you uploaded. Provide the URL you got File:Badguyflexidisc.jpg from, or I will revert you and nominate the image for deletion. Do not upload images to Wikipedia without a source. This is not the solution to being called out for taking images from unreliable websites. Ss112 00:08, 18 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by Robert McClenon was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: This draft still does not indicate which of the musical notability criteria is satisfied. This draft has been resubmitted tendentiously without specifying the basis for notability, after being asked to identify the basis for notability of the song.

Musical notability criteria provide criteria for articles on albums and songs. The musical notability guidelines also state that songs do not necessarily warrant separate articles from their albums unless a criterion is satisfied.

This draft has been Rejected by a reviewer in the Articles for Creation review process. DO NOT resubmit this draft or attempt to resubmit this draft or prepare or submit a draft that is substantially the same as this draft without discussing the reasons for the rejection. You may request a discussion with the rejecting reviewer, or you may request a discussion with the community at the Teahouse. A discussion will not necessarily agree to a resubmission. If this draft is resubmitted, or an attempt is made to resubmit this draft or an equivalent draft, without addressing the reasons for the Rejection, a topic-ban or a partial block may be requested against the submitting editor, and the draft may be nominated for deletion.

You may ask for advice about Rejection at the Teahouse.

Gallons of Rubbing Alcohol

User:Beatleswillneverdie: Here is a long partial answer. First, as I noted above to another editor, there is a myth in Wikipedia about references. The myth is that any draft will be accepted if enough references are added to it, or the right references. References are a necessary but not a sufficient condition for acceptance of a draft. The first part of my conclusion is that the track does not satisfy musical notability because it has not charted or satisfied another of the criteria for inclusion. The second part of my conclusion is that the track does not appear to satisfy general notability. Any argument that you make for acceptance of the draft should be based on general notability, because I think that it fails musical notability. I personally do not want to try to evaluate whether a song track passes general notability based on added references.

However, second, since you are being so persistent, I am willing to do either of two things for you. I advised you to discuss the rejection with other editors before resubmitting. You have chosen to persist in asking me. I am willing, the first option, just to get you to stop bothering me, to remove the Rejection from the draft and allow you to resubmit it and have another editor review it. I do not plan to review it again. My guess is that another editor will decline or reject it, but you can try.

The second option is that I am willing, based on your request, and on your opinion, and not my review or judgment, to move the draft into article space, without offering my opinion as to whether it will pass a deletion discussion. If you ask me to accept your draft without a review, I will accept your draft without a review. It is likely to be nominated for deletion. In that case, I am willing to remain neutral in a deletion discussion.

Do you want me to remove the Rejection and let another reviewer review it when they are ready? Do you want me to remove the Rejection and move it into article space (accept the draft) based on your request, without reviewing it myself? Your call. Your submission at Articles for creation: Even in His Youth (March 26)

Your recent article submission has been rejected. If you have further questions, you can ask at the Articles for creation help desk or use Wikipedia's real-time chat help. The reason left by Robert McClenon was: This topic is not sufficiently notable for inclusion in Wikipedia. The comment the reviewer left was: We have already discussed this song at the Teahouse and elsewhere. This song has not charted, and so does not satisfy musical notability, and the song is described in the article on the album, but there will not be a separate article for the song.

Nirvana chronology

Hi, I have noted your edits to the Nirvana chronology but there were a couple of things I wanted to point out. Firstly, a few years back it was discussed at length that the Blew EP could be included in the singles chronology. It only has four tracks which was the same length as many singles back in the day. Secondly, the Unplugged version of All Apologies was actually released as a promo single before the Pennyroyal Tea single back in 1994.QuintusPetillius (talk) 11:07, 29 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Even in His Youth shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree.

Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
