In 2016 Rotto signed for the Italian pro Continental team Androni Sidermec on a 1 year contract at the end of the 2016 Seanson Rotto retired from professional racing to Spend time with his son and family.

Ratto's sister, Rossella Ratto, is also a professional cyclist, best known for finishing third in the 2013 World Road Race Championships.^[4]^[5]
