Pending changes reviewer granted

Hello. Your account has been granted the "pending changes reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes. The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on is located at Special:StablePages.

Being granted reviewer rights neither grants you status nor changes how you can edit articles. If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time.

Deleted comment

Hello, I see you've reverted my edit with "Learn how to add to the Wikipedia by using those references, meaningful edits are worth the time and effort." as a reason. Could you be more specific? Are you saying that those references were reliable but they should be added to the page and not be discussed on the talk page at all? Or do you mean something else that was not clear to me? Could you redirect me to what I did wrong? Were the sources not reliable? Was the reply not relevant to the question asked? Was the comment deleted only because I expressed my doubt about how to add to Wikipedia or because there was something wrong with the references themselves? Appreciated. Hi there, I'd like to begin by telling you that editing on the Wikipedia is a leap of faith usually, as everything is foreign and is waiting to be discovered by you. With the cliche stuff aside, the Wikipedia introduced the sandbox which you'll see on the top right next to the talk option, you can use the sandbox to learn how the Wikipedia functions and as to how you can reference and edit effectively, also how to avoid errors, I think it's a great place to learn how to edit especially if you're starting out. As for reverting your edits, I did that as things which discuss the subject are only permitted on the subject page (the page you edited) and no personal thoughts or language is allowed there, rather your thoughts and additions can be discussed on the talk page as much as you like in cases where you are in doubt. The sources you mentioned seem fine, well at least from my perspective, Dexerto reports on alot of E-sports and media, which is applicable there but then again it's in my perspective. I feel you didn't do anything wrong, but for the sake of keeping the Wikipedia neutral and ready at all times for people to come and read, it is important for information to be adequate and well reported on. I would suggest reading a couple of paragraphs on the page you edited, understanding the neutral language maintained there and then make those edits once again, I'll take a look at them once you've added them and then see what needs more polishing and what's fine, sounds good??
Thank you very much. I see the problem now. I should've just reported what the articles said with no other additions on my end. I may try to add that information again later. ThatStoopidGuy (talk) 23:43, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
