Lucky Pierre (Template:Lang-fr) is a 1974 French comedy film directed by Claude Zidi.
Plot
Pierre Durois is an engaged mathematics teacher at an all-girls high school in Aix-en-Provenceand the son of mayor Hubert Durois. Patrick, Pierre's friend, is a photographer for a tabloid newspaper run by Albert Renaudin, Hubert Durois' enemy in the mayoral race. Pierre acts as a ghostwriter for his father and Patrick. It comes into play when Pierre's students, as a joke, switch the contents of three folders containing papers to grade, a speech for his father, and an article for Patrick on the actress Jackie Logan. Pierre ends up giving his student's papers to Patrick by accident, eventually finding himself on the set of Jackie Logan's film. Through a series of events, Pierre ends up spending the night at her house. The next day, the tabloids run exaggerated headlines of the situation, much to the chagrin of Hubert Durois (as this harms his chances at re-election) and Danièle, Pierre's fiancée.
