You are welcome to continue editing without logging in, but many editors recommend that you create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits, such as the ability to create articles. For a full outline and explanation of the benefits that come with creating an account, please see this page. If you edit without a username, your IP address (50.68.189.119) is used to identify you instead.
In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}}
before the question on this page.

Using edit summaries
Hello. My name's Tamzin. I just wanted to let you know that, while your recent edits appear to have been policy-compliant, by making a lot of reverts without edit summaries, you set off a lot of alarm bells, which could lead to someone mistaking you for a vandal and reverting your edits. In the future, I would suggest using edit summaries to avoid such confusion. If you have further questions, please let me know on my talk page.
(A note to anyone else reviewing this situation: The edits had only been reverted for linking to a redlink; that redlink is now blue.) Tamzin (they/them) | o toki tawa mi. 02:39, 24 October 2020 (UTC)
- I'll also note that I think that the editor who reverted you was out of line, and have communicated my feelings to them. You seem like a capable editor, and I hope you continue to edit Wikipedia. I'd really encourage you to create an account, although of course it's perfectly fine not to. Tamzin (they/them) | o toki tawa mi. 02:59, 24 October 2020 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
