Mikheil Nugzarovich Lomtadze (Georgian: მიხეილ ნუგზარის ძე ლომთაძე, born October 17, 1975, in Batumi, Georgian SSR) co-founder, shareholder, and chairman of the Board in Kaspi.kz.[2][3][4] According to Forbes and Bloomberg[5] he is the third richest businessmen of Kazakhstan, worth $3,9 billion after London Stock Exchange IPO of Kaspi.kz in 202O[6][7][8][9] Lomtadze is the richest person in Georgia.[10]

General information

Mikheil Lomtadze started business career in 1995.[11] In 2004, he became a Partner at Baring Vostok Capital Partnerss.[12] In 2006, Lomtadze became a member of the Board of Directors of Kaspi Bank, formerly Bank Kaspiyskiy JSC.[13] In 2007- 2018, he was a Chairman of the Management Board of Kaspi Bank.[14] In February 2013, Lomtadze acquired Kolesa Group for $15 million.[15] In 2014, he was awarded the government Order of Kurmet.[16] Since 2018 he has been a shareholder of Kaspi.kz.[17][18][19] In December 2021, President of Kazakhstan ordered Lomtadze with Order of Friendship.[20]
