License tagging for Image:61-75.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:61-75.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 15:05, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

Unspecified source for Image:Rom-gloria-buzau.gif

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Rom-gloria-buzau.gif. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 22:49, 18 April 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MECUtalk 22:49, 18 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

History of FC Steaua

[edit]

Hi SupervladiTM. You are off to such a great start on the article History of FC Steaua that it may qualify to appear on Wikipedia's Main Page under the Did you know... section. Appearing on the Main Page would help bring publicity and assistance to the article. However, there is a five day from article creation window for Did you know... nominations. Before five days pass from the date the article was created, please consider nominating the article to appear on the Main Page by posting a nomination at Did you know suggestions. Again, great job on the article. -- Jreferee (Talk) 20:45, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your userpage in userspace

[edit]

Your userpage in userspace was moved back to your userpage, and the mainspace entry deleted. Userpages are for userspace, not mainspace. If you have questions about this, I'd be happy to answer. Thanks, --Durin 22:09, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Licensing of images

[edit]

Could you please pause on your image uploads? I've found a number of your images to have clearly not been of your creation. I doubt you are the license holder for these images, and as such you can not release rights. For more information on some of these images, please see my statement at Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/FC Steaua Bucureşti. Finding an image somewhere on the net and copying it to Wikipedia doesn't mean you obtain rights to release the image into the public domain. I'd be happy to help you if you like. Let's clarify the problems here, ok? --Durin 22:13, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Commercial use of Image:Dicareal.jpg

[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:Dicareal.jpg, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:Dicareal.jpg is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only" or "used with permission for use on Wikipedia only" which was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19 or is not used in any articles (CSD I3).

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. This bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Image:Dicareal.jpg itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. If you have any questions about what to do next or why your image was nominated for speedy deletion please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thanks. --Android Mouse Bot 2 17:09, 30 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate images uploaded

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Dica real.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Dicareal.jpg. The copy called Image:Dicareal.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 17:15, 30 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free use disputed for Image:Aiss.jpg

[edit]
Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Aiss.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 01:22, 8 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Commercial use of Image:Mihaillascar.jpg

[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:Mihaillascar.jpg, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:Mihaillascar.jpg has a copyright license type implying some type of restricted use, such as for non-commercial use only, or for educational use only or for use on Wikipedia by permission, which was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19 or is not used in any articles (CSD I3). While it might seem reasonable to assume that such files can be freely used on Wikipedia, this is in fact not the case[1][2]. Please do not upload any more files with these restrictions on them, because content on Wikipedia needs to be compatible with the GNU Free Documentation License, which allows anyone to use it for any purpose, commercial or non-commercial. See our non-free content guidelines for more more information.

Orphaned non-free image (Image:ASAbadge.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:ASAbadge.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 00:01, 8 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Mondenii.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Mondenii.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Thank you for uploading Image:Aisswiki.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 21:24, 24 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Lascar.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

A tag has been placed on Image:Sarbatoarea titlului 23-2109076682.jpg, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD g12.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. The Evil Spartan 02:42, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, fellow Steaua fan

[edit]

Hello, I see that you're also a fan of Steaua Bucuresti. I was wondering if you can help me improve the articles which I've been editing for the last week on Dorin Goian, Ionuţ Rada, Ifeanyi Emeghara and Nicolae Dica. If you are willing to help, please leave a message on my userpage aquascape. Thanks! —Preceding comment was added at 18:22, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Mondenii.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Mondenii.jpg.

Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 17:41, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Zeusvladi.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Zeusvladi.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Dianna (talk) 01:42, 10 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Notification of automated file description generation

[edit]

Your upload of File:Cnme-front.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks!

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. The file File:Childhood vladi.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

orphaned personal image, no foreseeable use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. October 2017

[edit]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to FC Steaua București, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. You do not have the right to retroactively remove material you have contributed to Wikipedia. Wikipedia:Content removal is nothing but an essay, (and your material does not even qualify under that flimsy pretext). Reverting to a version from 2006 is not acceptable. Meters (talk) 21:47, 3 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I've started a thread on the article's talk page if you want to discuss it. Meters (talk) 21:49, 3 October 2017 (UTC)![reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on FC Steaua București. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Meters (talk) 08:45, 4 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at FC Steaua București. Meters (talk) 08:46, 4 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you remove or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia again, as you did at FC Steaua București, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. I strongly advise you to get involved in the discussion on the talk page, your removal of content is to my mind unjustified by any guideline and is so disruptive that I have had to fully protect the page to prevent it occurring again. Esti batut in cap bai baiatule, cum sa zici ca o echipa infiintata in 2017 are zeci de titluri in palmares? :)) Nu suport Steaua/FCSB/CSA dar cand va vad pe astia talpanisti-autisti ma ia capul.8Dodo8 (talk · contribs) 18:47, 20 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Do you want me to translate your message to English? May I remind you that, while Wikipedia is a non-partisan platform, your message proves an obvious anti-Steaua stance (let alone your language, one I can nevertheless tolerate). Which is a thing I understand, but a Wikipedia page is based on objectivity and on backing up your information with relevant links and references. Please see current version of page for that matter, including for topics such as year of establishment or historical record. SupervladiTM 07:55, 23 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked temporarily from editing for edit warring, as you did at CSA Steaua București (football). Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Swarm 03:19, 21 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
