That's what you are, always. I cherish working with you, 10 years ago when we faced a difficult situation, and now that we silently improve songs' articles. This little light ... - my next: Wie schön leuchtet der Morgenstern, thinking of my mother. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:12, 18 February 2022 (UTC) I noticed that you gave me precious in response 10 years ago, - you could use the same code if you want to do that again, - I learned the use of BASEPAGENAME today, - about time ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:57, 18 February 2022 (UTC)

Thank you for great patient kind admin work for as long as I'm here. Yesterday, we sang old music for two choirs at church, pictured, scroll to the image of the organ of the month of the Diocese of Limburg (my perspective), and if you have time, watch the video about it. And today I wrote an article about music premiered today, Like as the hart, thinking of you. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:40, 19 September 2022 (UTC) travel and strings sound --Gerda Arendt (talk) 13:47, 26 September 2022 (UTC)
Hey Ched, we haven't interacted much, but I always recognized your name as one of the most sensible and honest people on here. I hope everything is OK and you recover from whatever is affecting you. Prayers. Reaper Eternal (talk) 19:51, 3 October 2022 (UTC) A personal messageI saw your message at WP:BN. I don't think we've had that much interaction over the years, but yours has always been a username I associated with level-headed wisdom and kindness. One of our best. I wish you the best possible outcomes with the medical challenges you face. I wish you peace. --Dweller (talk) Old fashioned is the new thing! 08:23, 20 September 2022 (UTC)
I remember our very first direct interaction. We didn't interact much, but I always came around your username, and Dweller put my feelings into words very well. I wish you great health. I hope you still edit once in a while. Take care of yourself, and yours. —usernamekiran (talk) 12:08, 1 October 2022 (UTC) A barnstar for you!

March flowers
Today we remember the 150th birthday of Max Reger, who saw the horrors of a world war right when it began in 1914, while others were still in high patriotic moods -- Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:24, 19 March 2023 (UTC) sharing impressions from vacation on Madeira 20-30 March, pics now at 24 Mar from the peaks - the RfC with the non-neutral invitation to fight was closed, and went rather peacefully - what can we learn from it? - I saw today that Brian added an infobox to Imogen Holst in 2014, edit summary "risk" - should it still be a risk in 2023 to follow his example? -- forgot to sign --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:37, 7 April 2023 (UTC) Every editor is a human beingI was going through my notifications and saw this chat between you and Gerda Arendt. I am surely not the first person to say this, and I hope I will not be the last. I hope you are well, no matter what Wikipedia throws at you. Geometry guy 23:28, 6 April 2023 (UTC)

A little flower for you - how are you? - Today is the 80th birthday of John Eliot Gardiner. Br'er cropped his image for me ... --Gerda Arendt (talk) 17:01, 20 April 2023 (UTC) Every editor is a human being; Part 2That includes you, Ched. I'm so glad my friend is still coming around. I hope you are well. I think of you often and still cherish your gift. Thank you for being such a kind, thoughtful, and caring person. --ARoseWolf 15:30, 12 July 2023 (UTC)
July music
Nice to hear from you! - Great music (in June, I'm behind: three great RMF concerts)! - Last Saturday, a friend played for us at her birthday party, on four instruments including baryton, with family (granddaughters!) and colleagues, from Renaissance to Haydn. - My story today is very personal: the DYK appeared on Wikipedia's 15th birthday, and describes a concert I sang. I was requested to translate the bio into German for a memorial concert ... - see background, and we talked about life and death. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:26, 12 July 2023 (UTC)
