Might as well be the one who breaks the "discuss this page" cherry for this article. Jersey Devil 00:06, 5 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Western Hemisphere

[edit]

The text refers to the summit of the Americas as a reunion between "all the countries in the western hemisphere except Cuba". That is incorrect; the term "western hemisphere" is used by the US govt. as a way around the "America/Americas" issue, even more so when all the presidents of nations in America are attending the meeting. Just as a reminder, most of England, most of Spain, a part of France and the totality of Ireland, Iceland, Portugal, Morroco, Mauritania, Senegal and many other nations in Africa are part of the Western Hemispehere (i.e. west of meridian 0º) and they surely are not part of the meeting of the Americas. Thus, i suggest the name be changed, or at least a reference to this be brought up in the main article. ~~LtDoc~~

Economics of Argentina

[edit]

Several Argentina radios and two or more tv-stations seeing and hearing at the same time I proof how I took an effort to find out how the audio and visual things are presented in Argentina. But there is a sharp void financial and economical laguna. The World Bank and the Argentinian President Kirchner decided intentionally to keep top-secret the liabilities contract conditions and figures how the Argentinian population pays back the loan. Those hidden opaque and clandestine dealings with public money and finances was not publicly told and set open into discussion by all the Argentinian medias especially during the last october 2005 23rd Kirchner re-election campaign with Kirchner's main propaganda term "transparency". -- Source: The German "Argentinisches Tagblatt" edited in Buenos Aires. The Radio Station Moreno 911 FM located in the agglomeration of Buenos Aires. Other sources could be mentionned on demand.

Redundant information?

[edit]

At some point, the list of the summits in the Overview section will be considered redundant. There is a navbox at the bottom of the page; and it presents similar data in an abbreviated format. --Tenmei (talk) 17:22, 30 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

During several automated bot runs the following external link was found to be unavailable. Please check if the link is in fact down and fix or remove it in that case!
