I moved this page from Alauna Carvetiorum back to Alauna (Maryport). The only source I can find that calls this fort "Alauna Carvetiorum" is the Roman-Britain.org, but AFAIK that site invents suffixes solely for the purposes of disambiguation. I can find no reliable textbook which agrees in calling this site "Alauna Carvetiorum". Note that there's a second place in Cumbria called Alauna, which could just as easily be called Alauna Carvetiorum if one wanted. Pasicles (talk) 22:33, 12 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
