Religion: Shi'ism and Zoroastrianism

[edit]

This bio subject page and spouse page Reza Pahlavi are subjected to repeated edit wars over their religion. While there is absolutely nothing wrong with either religion, in fact, the Pahlavis are Shi'a, not Zoroastrian (Iran's ancient religion that dominated before the country was swept over by Islam). Most of the edits to Zoroastrian are done by anonymous posts. Not sure what the motivation of the anonymous change is about, but the fact is they are not. Please be aware of this edit war and watch for any attempts to change religion to Zoroastrian. I'm changing it back now. ChelseaChat (talk) 19:25, 24 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wording of introduction

[edit]

How is that bad? It's standard across the other pages of iranian queens. -Overthinkingly 06:05, 12 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The fact that wording is used elsewhere establishes nothing (since anyone can edit). "Last crown prince of the former Imperial State of Iran" obfuscates the issues, it calls the country "former", a term better applied to the person being described (ie "former prince", much more straightforward wording); there's a pretense that Pahlavi and his family still have a claim to some title.
